No. You do not need to have a mobile app to use the Scan to Shop in-store shopping experience but it is recommended for the most seamless shopping experience for customers. The web version provides a similar experience.

Customers can pay for their order by connecting their preferred bank account using the BLAZEPAY ACH integration. Once connected, this will become the default payment method for faster checkout. Alternatively, customers can pay with their debit card or cash upon pickup. The payment types can be configured to suit your business objectives.
Customers using a mobile app, receive a push notification when their order is ready. Customers using the web version will receive an email notification when their order is ready. We recommend that you also have an offline SOP to notify customers who are waiting in-store for express pickup.
Retail staff can generate QR codes for products in the BLAZE ECOM™ mission control under products. Select a product, click see QR code, and click download. That’s it!
