New BLAZE Retail Features

  • Built-in Barcode Scanner – Scan barcodes with the iPad camera to add them to the cart without needing an external scanner.
  • Product Price Checker – Scan product barcodes at any point to check product pricing without building a cart
  • Budtender Stats – View real-time budtender statistics on what products, brands, and categories are being sold
  • Flexible Order Views – Customize order views in a list or tile layout based on budtender preference

Compatible iPad Models

The new BLAZE Retail® iOS app is compatible with iPad 8th Generation or newer. To check your current iPad model navigate to Settings > General > About > Model Name. If your store is using iPads that are older than generation 8 it may be time to upgrade.

If it’s time to invest in new hardware, BLAZE Retail® offers compatibility with both Windows and iOS, supporting a variety of hardware configurations. All ancillary hardware remains fully supported in the new BLAZE Retail® iOS app.

Getting Started

For BLAZE-powered retailers, switching to the new BLAZE Retail® iOS app is as simple as downloading the new app from the Apple store. Once installed, accept all the permissions and login with the same credentials as before. All customer data, inventory, and orders will sync seamlessly with the new app. Feel free to continue using the previous BLAZE Retail iOS app side by side the new app. We will continue to support the older version for quite some time.
