What is BLAZE Cares
This holiday season, BLAZE wanted to give back to our community and make an impact. To do so, BLAZE is launching a new initiative known as BLAZE Cares! BLAZE Cares is about giving back to the communities that support us. To kick off our initiative we asked our employees to donate toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and BLAZE would match the same amount. The Marine Corps collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
Giving Back!
We really wanted to give Santa a run for his money this year and our team met the challenge. In a few weeks, we collected over $1000 dollars worth of toys. From awesome sports gear to dolls, board games, and music sets, our team got it all. As promised, BLAZE matched that so we were able to provide over $2000 dollars worth of toys to needy children this holiday season.
From there our team collected all the toys and headed over to our friends at The Spot dispensary in Santa Ana. Their dispensary was all decked out in the holiday spirit and ready for some presents under the tree. The amazing team there helped us put our toys under their tree and get some pictures of our BLAZE Cares team together! All of our gifts combined made for an impressive spread of gifts that would make Rockefeller Center jealous!
As our first BLAZE Cares contribution, we’re proud of our team’s turnout and all the children we’ll be able to help have a brighter, happier holiday. We hope to be able to give back to our community in several ways and participate in as many charity causes as we can in the future. This is just the beginning for BLAZE Cares, so stay tuned!
